EPDM Colour

Rubber granules with EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) as a base polymer, which provides resilience and durability or the product. Our granules are sulphur vulcanised for a stable structure. Our EPDM Colour granules are designed to cover sport and recreational surfaces as they provide a safe and colourful surface. . We offer the EPDM Colour granules with various grain sizes and in wide colour palette.

EPDM Infill

EPDM Infill granulesare designed as a filling for artificial turf. They meets all requirements of the FIFA Quality Programme. Our EPDM Infill secures the grass blades and protects players’ joints from injuries.

TPV Colour

TPV Colour granules are thermoplastic elastomer vulcanised granules, a combination of rubber and plastic, recyclable synthetic material. This particular product is composed primarily of EPDM and polypropylene. TPV Colour is typically used as a cover surface for playgrounds and other public areas. It is both safe and durable, as well as UV-resistant. One of vital characteristics of STARGUM’s TPV granules is its low density. As a result, our TPV granules consumption per sqm is lower than other rubber granules.

SBR Granules

STARGUM’s SBR granule rubber comes from our black rubber products production waste, not from recycled tires. That provides better smell and toxicology results, comparing to standard SBR granules. This product has been designed to serve mostly as a surface base. It can be used as a sublayer for playgrounds, running tracks, driveways etc.

EPDM Starlight

EPDM Starlight are EPDM-based porous granules. Theyhave low bulk density and remarkable elasticity thanks to the high polymer content. Starlight is usually used as a middle base layer of a running track surface.  Its standard colour is red but on special request can be manufactured in any other colour.

Which granules are the best?

There is no simple answer on that question. Various granules types have different mechanical and physical properties that affect the appearance, cost and performance of the surface.. Installation of high performance sport surfaces requires usage of tested and certified systems that determine kind and consumption of granules to be applied. Sports fields, playgrounds and public areas have distinct requirements regarding elasticity and hardness of the surface. To meet those requirements, installers shall follow HIC certified system guidelines that imposes certain kind of granules and thickness of layers.
